Danny Keith Weaver

Danny Keith Weaver was born November 3, 1954 in Haskell, TX to Aaron Ralph Weaver and Oweida Treadwell Weaver. He passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Medical City Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX after a lengthy illness at the age of 63.

Danny was a 1973 graduate of Paint Creek High School. He worked as a corrections officer for Taylor County Sheriff Department for 23 years. However, his ideal dream job, where his heart and soul were happy, was being a cowboy.

Danny married Sylvia Vinson on August 31, 1980. The Weaver’s would have celebrated their 38 ^th anniversary this coming August.

Danny loved spending time with his family. His favorite title being, “Da” was lovingly given to him by his grandchildren whom he cherished.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, sister Debbie Weaver Gilliam and brother Robert Weaver.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Weaver of Hawley, TX; son Joey Weaver (Kim) of Abilene, TX; 3 daughters, Shamone Weaver (Les Bowman) of Albany, TX, Shayla Johnson (Philip) Merkel, TX and Shawnda Capuchin (Moises) of Hawley, TX; 7 grandchildren, Joley Weaver, Braydin Warner, Jessica Weaver, Dani Ryan Johnson, Shawn Keen, Rodie Johnson and J’Cee Keen; sisters in law, Jamie Weaver, Carolyn Easley and Tammy Carter; brothers in law, Larry Gilliam and Bruce Vinson (Kristi).

Visitation will be Saturday, June 23, 2018, 6-7:30 p.m. at Tankersley Funeral Home in Stamford, TX (807 S. Columbia). Funeral Services will be Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Anson, TX with Rev. Luke Sprayberry officiating. Burial will follow in Howard Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.
