Terri Leigh Fillmon

Terri Leigh Fillmon, 49, of Haskell, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017 in Marietta, Ohio from the results of a bicycle accident.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Haskell under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford.

Terri Leigh Morris was born August 23, 1968 in Abilene, Texas to Alvin and Brenda Morris. She was raised in the View area and graduated Wylie High School in 1987.

Terri married Larry Fillmon on May 7, 1988, a union that was blessed with two children; a daughter, Bailey and son Steven. The Fillmon’s moved to Stamford, relocated to San Angelo one year later and then to McCamey where they resided for five years before moving to Haskell in 1994. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Haskell. Terri was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She enjoyed exercising and riding her bike for pleasure.

Terri worked from 2003 until 2013 as an assistant to the District Judge and the Haskell County Clerk before retiring to join Larry in his employment travels.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Fillmon of Haskell, TX, 1 son, Steven Fillmon and wife Kelsey of San Angelo, TX, 1 daughter, Bailey Fillmon of Stephenville, TX, 1 granddaughter, Eva Fillmon of San Angelo, TX, her father, Alvin Morris of Abilene, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Betty Fillmon of Del Rio, TX, and 1 sister, Vicki Morris of Abilene, TX.

Terri was preceded in death by her Mother, Brenda King Morris.
