Rebecca Adair Nauert

On Friday, October 21, 2022, Rebecca Nauert, 91, passed away peacefully in her home.   She was born on  September 26 ^th , 1931 to Eric and Martha Rosenquist in Stamford, Texas. She began school in Pleasant Valley School then graduated from Stamford High School where she was a cheerleader. She also graduated from Texas Lutheran College where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

Becky married Leland Nauert on July 19, 1952, in Ericksdahl at Bethel Lutheran Church where she played the organ for church services for over 30 years. She also worked in Eager Feed Mill and Four Star Feed, which she owned with Leland. She hosted 100’s of meals for her family after church on Sundays throughout the years.  Baking bread and pastries were her major hobbies. She raised chickens and enjoyed her little dog, Sparky. Becky was a member of Pink Ladies and assisted in The Bread of Life Ministry.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leland Nauert, her son, Sammy Nauert, her granddaughter, Monica Solis, a pre-born great granddaughter, Lily Nauert; her parents; Eric and Martha Rosenquist, her brother, Melvin Rosenquist, and her sister, Marjorie Haterius.

Becky is survived by her sons Tony Nauert and wife, Teresa, Lynn Nauert and wife, Robin, a daughter, Vicky Solis and her husband, Ralph; one daughter in law, Leigh Nauert; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters in law, Nell Rosenquist and Faye Maroney and husband Bill.

Funeral services for Becky will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Ericiksdahl, TX.
