Patsy continued her education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX where she met the love of her life Dean Quade. In the home Patsy was a true homemaker, from organizing the daily operations of a home to being a gifted seamstress crafting her sons’ western shirts and daughters’ dresses.
Patsy and Dean became avid travelers, once their granddaughter convinced them they could “actually” get on a plane and fly, and they also discovered cruise ships to be a fun adventure. Some of their travel destinations included Ruidoso, NM, Las Vegas, NV, Alaska, Europe, and New York.
