Mary Joann Baldree

Mary Joann Baldree, 79, of Abilene and formerly of Stamford, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 in Abilene, Texas.

Mary was born December 23, 1938 in Stamford, Texas to William Branscum and Beulah Gertrude (Ray) Morris. She was a lifetime resident of the area.  Mary worked for several nursing homes as a healthcare technician. She married John Monroe Phillips and to this union two children were born; Kenny and Ann Phillips.  Later in life Mary married Virgil Ernest Baldree.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and husband Virgil Ernest Baldree. She is survived by 1 son Kenny Phillips and wife Kathy of Stamford and 1 daughter, Ann Whitehead of Stamford, 2 sisters Camilla Holtz of Tucson, Arizona and Debra Morgan of Anson, Texas, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
