Ken Snow, age 74, died Thursday, June 29, 2023, following a brief illness. His wishes were to be cremated with no services at the current time.

Kenneth Ray Snow was born to the late J. B. and Winne (Clem) Snow on May 29, 1949, in Abilene, TX. He was reared in Stamford where he graduated from Stamford High School in 1968. Ken ran a Gulf service station in Stamford and worked in the oil field for D&D Power Tongs for several years. He moved to Hobbs, NM to work as a construction supervisor of cooling towers at Navaho Refinery where he remained until he retired in 2016 and moved to Wickenburg, AZ.

In 1992, Ken married Georgia Demerrit, they celebrated 27 years of marriage before Georgia passed away in 2019.  Ken moved back home to Stamford in 2019.

Ken enjoyed being outdoors fishing and gold prospecting. He cherished family life with his children and being “Papa” to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ken was preceded by in death by his parents, J. B. and Winnie, his wife, Georgia and nephew, Cary Snow.

His memories will live on through his children: daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Eric Rosser of Huntsville, TX, son and daughter-in-law, Keelan and Lisa Spaulding, son and daughter-in-law, Brand and Jenifer Spaulding, son, Scott Kimball, son and daughter-in-law, Jessy and Christine Wright; brother Glenn Snow; sister Yvonne Ratliff; 2 sisters-in-law: Chris Walker and husband Warren, and Monica Burkham; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and additional family members and friends. Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite of Texas.
