Johnnie Junior Bogle

Johnnie Bogle, 80, entered eternal peace on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home in Livingston, TX.

Johnnie Junior Bogle was born on September 6, 1938 in Hamlin, TX to Richard Thomas Bogle and Martha Theora Clawson Bogle. He attended school in Hamlin, TX. Johnnie married Patricia Ann Wardwell on February 15, 1958 in Stamford, TX; where the couple made their home until her death on September 13, 2018. The couple worked together for several years at the meat market at Piggly Wiggly and later Lawrence Brothers. Johnnie spent most of his time working, on occasion he would take time to fish, or do home improvements for Pat at their home and spending his time with family.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 60 years, Patricia, his daughter, Teresa Michelle Barnett in 2011, and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by 2 sons, Rick Bogle and wife Annette of Stamford, TX and Dusty Barnett and wife Nicole of Livingston, TX; 2 sisters, Jo Annie Bogle and Mamie Butler both of Hamlin, TX; 2 bothers, Charles Bogle of Hallettsville, TX and Joe E. Bogle of Hamlin, TX 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Johnnie’s life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Morton officiating. A private interment will follow under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home in Stamford, TX.
