John Ronald “Ronnie” Nail, age 75, recently of Wichita Falls, TX, passed from this life to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from a long battle with cancer. Ronnie was born January 7, 1947 in Stamford, Texas to parents John R. Nail and Ruth Gilstrap Nail. Ronnie married the love of his life, Debbie Seber, on July 11, 1970.Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his beautiful wife of 51 years, Debbie Nail, and his beloved son, James Nail.Ronnie is survived by his sister Janice Nail of Ennis, Texas; granddaughter Brittany Nail of San Antonio, Texas; grandson Jared Nail of College Station, Texas; grandson Josh Nail of Lubbock, Texas; niece Angie Pollock and husband Greg of Arlington, Texas;  niece Natalie Taylor and wife Amber of Austin, Texas; niece Kristen Seber of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephew Travis Mathe and wife Clare of Ennis, Texas; nephew Michael Taylor and wife Katie of Waxahachie, Texas; nephew Kevin Seber and wife Phoebe of Lindale, Texas; nephew Eric Seber of Austin, Texas; nephew Kyle Seber of Texarkana, Texas; and nephew Todd Seber of Texarkana, Texas. Ronnie proudly joined the United States Air Force in 1966 and heroically served our country as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War and was assigned to the headquarters of the Operations Security Division, in Saigon. On July 1, 1969 he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his meritorious achievement as a part of the United States Military Assistance Command Vietnam, commonly known as MAC-V. He loved more than anything being a devoted husband to his sweet wife Debbie. They loved watching old western re-runs, especially Gunsmoke, and taking care of their rescue dogs. His warm hugs will be deeply missed. Graveside memorial services with military honors will be held February 19 th at Highland Memorial Cemetery Stamford, Tx at 2:00pm officiated by Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford, TX
