Jimmy Henthorne, of Stamford, TX, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the age of 59.
Jimmy was born to parents Phillip Henthorne, Sr., and Zona (Ruttman) Henthorne on June 9, 1962, in Denver, CO. He was a member of the Lueders Baptist Church and attended school in Stamford. Jimmy worked for Gem Drilling in the oil field and as a painter at Wilson Trailer Company.
Jimmy married Tammy Tucker September 3, 1985, in Anson, TX. Jimmy enjoyed his family and being a homebody. He spent his relaxing time watching TV and cooking on the grill. Much of his time was spent being “Poppy” to his grandson, Rylan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Zona, a brother Donald Henthorne, and a brother-in-law Troy Tucker.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Tammy Henthorne of the home, daughter and son-in-law, Cayla and Robert Dundas of Stamford, TX, son Chris Henthorne of Stamford, TX, daughter Mikah Qualls of Lubbock, TX, daughter Stephanie Whittemore of Abilene, TX; brother Phillip Henthorne of Killeen, TX, brother and sister-in-law Kenny and Nancy Henthorne of Lockhart, TX, sister Margaret Rhodes of Lubbock, TX, brother and sister-in-law Scott and Sylvia Bingham of Longview, TX; four grandchildren; Rylan Dundas, Mallorie Henthorne, Cameron Poulton and Cole Whittemore; a great grandchild Arielle Vidales; other relatives and friends.
