Emma Elisa Logan was born February 22,1950 to Louis George Dicke Sr. and Flora Mueller Dicke in Uvalde County. She died April 9, 2025 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was baptized into the Christian faith April 15, 1962 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Uvalde, TX. Emma graduated Knippa High School Cum Laude in 1967. She then graduated from Angelo State University earning a business degree in 1971 and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
She married the love of her life Milford Logan in 1975 in Fredricksburg, Texas. They lived in San Angelo where she worked for the City of San Angelo.
In 1981 they moved to Knox City where they owned the local feed store, farmed and ranched side by side through thick and thin.
Emma was affectionately known as C.C. by her family, that loved her very much. She was a kind, gentle soul who had a compassionate heart and a strong head on her shoulders. She was a born leader. She made everyone feel welcome as she warmed their souls with her scrumptious baking and delicious cooking. She loved family gatherings and that paired well with her love of cooking.
Emma (CC) is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, her brother Louis George Dicke Jr. (Lynda), nieces Cheryl Rabe (Harry), Shannon Fincke (Bart), Shelbi Hentschke (Andy), sister-in-law Linda Dicke (Bill), nephew Darrel Teaver, niece Jodie Anderson (John) , numerous great nieces and nephews, numerous great-great nieces and nephews ,cousin Charlie Dicke, and her special furry friends Summer, AJ , and Snert and her special family Carl and Martha Brock and their children Johnny and Michelle.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, numerous aunts and uncles and her loving brother Bill Dicke.
Funeral services will be held April 12th at 2 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Seymour, Tx., with graveside and burial at the Knippa Cemetery at 2 pm on April 14th.
