Dustin Morton, 21, entered eternal peace and a reunion with his dad, on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his home in Dripping Springs, Texas.
Dustin Tyler Morton was born November 22, 1995 to Tonya Williams Morton and Jerry Morton. He was a graduate of Dripping Springs High School and a member of the First Baptist Church.
He loved his family and friends. He was always looking to help others. When he wasn't working at Home Depot, he was volunteering at Red Arena. Dustin received the KVUE 5 Who Care award for his work at Red Arena. Dustin had big plans to rebuild cars, build his man cave, make trails for his wheelchair to get down, etc. He had so many friends who came to his aid when he needed something done that he could not do himself. Dustin’s family would like to extend a big thank you to all who had a part in his short life.
Dustin’s life memories will be cherished by his mother, Tonya Toungate; 5 sisters, Carrie Hendrix and husband Steve, Sheila Buchanan and husband Beau, Jessica Morton, Kamryn Morton, Bethany Toungate; 1 brother, Mason Toungate; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry William Morton on April 29, 2011.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Dripping Springs, Texas with the Rev. Jesse Morton officiating and Dr. Craig Curry assisting. Burial will be Thursday, July 13, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at the Spring Creek Cemetery at Avoca, Texas under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford, Texas.
