Becky Tabor Jensen

Becky Ree (Tabor) Jensen, 70, passed away at Hendrick Hospice Care of Abilene on October 27 , 2022. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Ericksdahl Community with Rev. Richard Strait officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Tankersley Funeral Home

Becky was born to Bonnie Fay (Hill) & Billy Ray Tabor on January 29, 1952, in Stamford, TX. She was a lifelong resident of Lueders, TX, where she graduated from Lueders-Avoca High School in 1970. Becky married John Jensen on February 13, 1971, in the Lueders Baptist Church. Becky was a devoted homemaker and supportive farm/ag teacher wife. Becky spent many birthdays and anniversaries at stock shows and enjoyed the travels and lifetime friends made along the way.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Billy & Bonnie Tabor, and a brother, Joe Tabor.

Becky is survived by her husband, John Jensen of Lueders, TX; three sons: Tony Jensen and wife Tommi of Avoca, TX, John Carl Jensen of Avoca, TX, and Randy Jensen of Avoca, TX; two grandsons: Jay Jensen and fiancé Jillian Carruthers, of Stamford, TX and Logan Jensen serving in the US Navy; four sisters: Linda (Dennis) Huffaker and Glenda Mullins all from Lueders, TX, Sherry (Bruce) Ford of Snyder, TX, Gerry Baker of Abilene, TX; one brother, Bob (Lana) Tabor of Seminole, TX; sister-in-law, Annette Jensen of Midland, TX; brothers-in-law, Martin Jensen of Abilene, TX, and Milton Jensen of Avoca, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Serving as pallbearers are Timmy Mullins, Jason Baker, Brandon Ford, Jay Jensen, Curt Muehlstein, Joe Dan Huffaker and Michael Garcia.  Honorary pallbearer is Logan Jensen.
