Barry Alan Walcott

Barry Alan Walcott, 70, of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Stamford.  In honor of Barry’s wishes, cremation services were selected with Tankersley Funeral Home in Stamford, with no other services being held at this time.

Barry was born December 27, 1951, in East St. Louis, Illinois to Melvyn and Dolores Wolters Walcott. The Walcott family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and Barry was raised and schooled there, graduating high school in 1969 in Albuquerque and then going to Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan from 1969 through 1971. He married Betty Jones in Lawton, Oklahoma on April 2, 1980, and they moved to Lueders, TX and Barry started up his new business of Walcott Enterprises which he operated until his death.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Betty in 2017.

Left to cherish his memories are his son: Cody Walcott and fiancé Ajonna of Seattle, Washington and his daughter, Beth Venegas and husband Dustin, also of Seattle, Washington. 6 grandchildren, Jaycee Walcott, C.J. Walcott, Hank Walcott, Max Walcott, Arayah Walcott, and Zeferino Venegas.
