Amanda was blessed with three children, Brian, Crystal, and Brook. After her children were grown, she entered nursing school to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. While attending nursing school Amanda met several young women who became her forever friends and the loves of her life. These ladies were inseparable friends who spent quality time by the pool as well as taking road trips to the beach.
Michelle Garant, Heather Bond, Wendy Garza, Lori Roderick, Kelley Grant, Kelley Lagrone – Bond. Words can never express how thankful Amanda’s family is to each of you for your unwavering care and precious friendship. You were her guardian angels on earth.

Mandy is survived by her sister, Lydia Peaks of Corpus Christi, TX; her children, two stepsons, five grandchildren who lovingly called her “Little Granny”, one great granddaughter, several cousins, and friends.
