Addie Faye Smith Haynes, 77, was born March 1, 1943 in O’Donnell, TX to Paul and Bertha (Owens) Crisp. Addie attended school in Midland, TX.
Addie worked at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Lubbock, Texas. In 1996, Addie moved to Stamford, TX where she was employed at Sagebrush Living Center until she retired in 2006.
On September 23, 1996, Addie and Edward Haynes were united in marriage in Stamford, TX.
Addie was a Baptist and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Haynes of Stamford, TX; her seven children; Bobby Crisp of Abilene, TX; Dodson Smith, III and wife Claresa of Lubbock, TX, Alice Davis and husband Gaylon of Lubbock, TX, Rufus Smith of Stamford, TX, Sharon Smith and husband Dwight of Lubbock, TX, Charles Smith and wife Casey of Stamford, TX and Cassie Smith and husband Anthony of Stamford, TX; 6 brothers and sisters; Aaron Crisp of Arizona, Herbert Crisp of Midland, TX, Diana Durham of San Angelo, TX, Janis Stephenson of Midland, TX, Betty Yarborough of Midland, TX and Wayne Crisp of Midland, TX; 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, February11, 2021 from 5 to 6 p.m., and Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021, both at Tankersley Funeral Home (807 Columbia) Stamford, TX. Pastor Paul Wright will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.
