Lucille Mary Kainer Bradshaw

Lucille Mary Bradshaw, 83, of Stamford, passed away on Thursday, September 02, 2010 at an Abilene hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Stamford with Rev. James Brigham officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 until 7 p.m.
Lucille was born August 1, 1927 in Sagerton, Texas to Amel and Anna Maria Kainer. She was a lifetime resident of the area. She graduated Sagerton High School in 1945 and continued her education in nursing with an LVN degree. Lucille was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Stamford, a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Stamford Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Bradshaw and wife Molly of Merkel and Billy Don Bradshaw and wife Joy of Eula, 4 sisters, Alvina Rinn and husband Roland of Houston, Pauline Barnett of Abilene, Bertha Bounds and husband Gene of Stamford, and Meta Kupatt of Stamford, 7 grandchildren, Shawn McBay, Toby Clayton, Jaime Jones, Cherie McCray, Jake Bradshaw, Elizabeth Hutcherson and Amanda Mellott, and 12 great grandchildren and a good friend, Shirley Moore. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Linda Carol McBay, her parents, and 4 brothers, Johnny Kainer, Emil Kainer, Jerry Kainer, and Oscar Kainer.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jody Sprayberry, David McEwen, Gary Gibbs, Darrell Gibbs, Bo Edwards, Glenn Edwards, Billy Baumbach, and Ryan Clayton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Hank Henson, Johnny Anders, Chip McBay, Stan Clayton, Jerry Ray Mueller and Delbert Edwards.
