Jose Guerra Lopez Jr.

Jose Guerra Lopez, 71, of Lueders, passed away on Monday at his residence.  Cremation services were chosen and a memorial service was held on Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Thurman Thomas officiating.
Jose was born September 27, 1938 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jose and Nicole Lopez. He moved to Jones county in 1975 from Inez, Texas.  He was a farmer and a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Ericksdahl.
He is survived by 4 sons: Joe Lopez, and wife Dottie , Pete Lopez, Lee Lopez, and Robert Lopez and wife Valen and 1 daughter, Olivia Guzman and husband, Alfonzo, 14 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 great grand son, Ruben Rodriguez.
