Marsha Ann Whitworth

Marsha Ann Whitworth, 62, of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Ann was born on December 29, 1947 in Cisco, Texas to Marshall and Laverne Ivie. She married Don Whitworth on May 3, 1979, in Oklahoma.

Ann was a woman of God who always emphasized the importance of accepting Christ, going to church and living out your faith. She was a strong prayer warrior and always turned first to the Lord for guidance and comfort. She and Don attended Broadview Baptist Church in Abilene.
She is survived by her husband Don, daughter Kimberly Dawn Abbott and husband Bill of Fort Worth, son James Clinton Griffith and wife Lisa of California, step-sons Terry Don Whitworth and wife Sabrina of Waco and Barry Clayton Whitworth and wife Tammy of Argyle. She has one sister Pam Page of Cisco, a sister-in-law Joann Stovall and husband Phil of Austin and one brother-in-law Gordon and wife Sandi of Houston. She has six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
