Helen Margaret Holloway

Helen Margaret Holloway, 88, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Selby officiating. Burial will follow at the Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.

Helen was born June 12, 1921 in Denton, Texas to Luther and Teressa Hill. She married John George Holloway in Arlington, Texas. Helen worked for Southwestern Bell as a stenographer prior to moving to Stamford 11 years ago from Ladonia, TX. She was a member of the Orient Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, John George Holloway of Stamford, two stepsons, James Holloway of Stamford and George R. Holloway of Leonard, Texas.
