Eliseo Criel Jr.

Eliseo Criel, Jr., 58 of Abilene, TX passed away March 4, 2017 in Midland, TX. The family will be receiving friends during visitation on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Tankersley Funeral Home (807 S. Columbia) Stamford, TX. Services will be a private family graveside.
Eliseo was born in Carrizo Springs, TX to Jovita and Eliseo Criel, Sr. Eliseo was the only boy of the five siblings born to the Criel family. The family moved to Pearsall, TX when Eliseo was just a child. He grew up in Pearsall and attended school there.
Eliseo worked for a tree trimming company for several years before moving to Avoca in 1997. He was employed by the City of Abilene where he worked for over 10 years. Eliseo moved to Abilene in 2003, were he currently resided.
Survivors include; 3 daughters, Danielle Wingrove and husband Brandon of Stanton, TX, Erica Criel of Hereford, TX and Blanca Morales of Ft. Worth, TX; 1 son Eliseo Criel, III and wife Rebecca of Amarillo, TX; 4 sisters Gloria Criel, Irene Peinado and husband Andres, Sulema Zerr and husband Shane, and Elida Reed and husband Don; and 8 grandchildren.
