Ora Faye Haliburton

Ora Faye was born November 2, 1927 in Rule, Texas to Henry Lee and Eula Crow. She was a lifetime resident of the Big Country area. She graduated from Haskell High School in 1944. She married the love of her life, Robert Haliburton, on December 15, 1945 in Haskell, Texas. Ora Faye was a homemaker and a partner with her husband Robert in the grocery store business and the Schetawee Oil Co. She was a member of the Orient Street Church of Christ in Stamford where she taught Sunday School for many years. Ora Faye also taught Sunday School at the Anson Church of Christ and was a den mother to the girl scouts for about 5 years.

She is survived by 1 daughter: Bobbie Faye Acker, and husband, Gary of Mineral Wells and 2 grand daughters, Lisa Dawn Acker and Karin Renee Acker, both of Mineral Wells, TX, 3 sisters, Joyce Smith and husband Ivy of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Florene Kingston of Kermit, Texas, Lorene Singleton and husband Clyde of Pasadena, Texas and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 brother, Elton Crow, and 1 brother in law, Malcolm Kingston.
