David Campion, age 80, of Highbridge. Wisconsin, passed away, at Stamford Memorial Hospital in Stamford, Texas on January 4, 2017
He was born March 9, 1936 in Rochester Minnesota to Harold Campion and Mildred Gillies Campion, he was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Rochester High School in 1954. David served his country in the U.S. Air Force for the next four years. Then he continued his education, earning an Associate degree in accounting. He worked as an electrician for many years. David married Dr. Sara Tee Selmon on May 6, 1983 in Rochester Minnesota. The Campion’s have resided on their farm near Highbridge, Wisconsin, for the past sixteen years.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Dr. Tee Selmon of Highbridge, Wisconsin; one daughter, Cristi Kath and husband Allen of Tucson, Arizona; one son, Christopher Campion of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren, Gregory Kath, Rebecca Kath., Allison Kath, and Nicole Kath all of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Carol Kruger or Rochester, Minnesota and Mary Lou Bohlman of St. Louis, Missouri; his father-in-law, Dr. Tony Selmon of Stamford, Texas; two brothers in law, John Richard Selmon and wife Pricilla of Redondo Beach, California and Dr. Matthew Rowland Selmon and wife Lezli of Austin, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Craig Campion.
Funeral will be at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Highbridge, Wisconsin at 11:00 a.m. on January 12, 2017, Father Simon Boyapati under the direction of Mountain Funeral Home in Mellen, Wisconsin. Local arrangements were entrusted to Tankersley Funeral Home in Stamford, Texas.
