Dennis Joe Collins

Dennis Collins, 64 of Stamford passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Stamford Residence & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Morton officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home ~ 807 S. Columbia ~ Stamford, Texas.
Dennis Joe Collins was born February 2, 1952 in Stamford, Texas to Homer Collins and Modell Smith Collins. He attended Stamford Schools and continued his education at Texas State Technical College. Dennis was self-employed working as a paint contractor.
Survivors include his brother James Collins and wife Samlee of Sagerton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
