David A. Boone

David A. Boone was born June 20 1949 in Kokomo, Indiana to Onis and Alma Boone. David went to be with his Lord and savior on December 17, 2016. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Tankersley Funeral Home at 807 S. Columbia, Stamford, Texas with Rev. Jesse Morton officiating. David and his family lived in Indiana until 1957 when they moved to Arizona. David lived in Arizona most of his life, and worked for the Beacon Foundation. He moved to Stamford Texas in 2007 and was a resident at the Sagebrush Living Center. In 2009 he moved to Abilene to be closer to his family. Survivors include 2 brothers, Mike Boone and Ronny Boone, both of Tucson, Arizona, 1 brother in law, Doug Morton of Abilene, 1 niece, Jennifer Dupree and Joseph Evins of Abilene and 1 nephew Jeff Morton and wife Crystal of Abilene.
