Jerrine Marie Mickler, 79, of Lake Stamford passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2009 at the Avoca Methodist Church in Avoca with Rev. Dennis Huffaker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Willow Cemetery in Haskell under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford.
The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m.
Jerrine was born July 17, 1930 in Sherwood, Texas to Euel and Minnie Pauline Keegan.
She was raised in the Sherwood area and graduated from Mertzon High School.
She married Richard Mickler on May 9, 1949 in Stamford and they lived there until 1964 when they moved to Spearman, Texas and then to Hereford, Texas in 1968.
Jerrine and Richard returned to Lake Stamford in 1995. Jerrine was a retired beautician,
and a member of the Avoca Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Mickler, of Lake Stamford, 1 daughter, Vickie Weatherby of Lake Stamford, 2 sons, Terry Mickler and wife Sherry of Jacksonville, Texas and Jessie Mickler of Lake Stamford, 1 sister, Loneta Mason and husband Larry of Abilene, Texas, 2 brothers, E. L. Keegan and wife Jimmie of Sherwood, Texas and Wayne Mann and wife Dana of Lovington, New Mexico, 5 grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren.
