Eulogio Guerrero

Eulogio Guerrero was born in Stamford, TX on March 11, 1932 to Theodore and Felicita (Martinez) Guerrero.
Mr. Guerrero passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 in Lubbock, TX at the age of 84. A Rosary will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016, 6-7 p.m. at Tankersley Funeral Home, 807 S. Columbia Street. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at St. John’s Methodist Church, 201 S. Ferguson St. with Rev. Paul Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.
Eulogio attended school in Stamford. He was employed by the City of Stamford and area cotton gins. Eulogio married Isadora Sanchez on August 11, 1953. They were blessed with two sons and eight daughters. Isadora preceded him in death on August 10, 2004.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Rudy Guerrero and Freddy Guerrero; 7 daughters, Barbara Perez, Mary Helen Ortiz, Nancy Sandoval, Valerie Rodriquez, Matilda Guerrero, Margaret Gonzales and Rachel Guerrero; 2 brothers, Theodore Guerrero and Amador Guerrero; 6 sisters, Fonsa Alvarado, Trina Arellano, Mary Gomez, Bessie Rangel, Toni Gomez and Connie Gonzales and their spouses; and grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife of 50 years, and 1 daughter, Sylvia Escobedo.
Pallbearers for Mr. Guerrero will be Carmen Perez Jr., Paul Perez, Michael Guerrero, Dwayne Rodriguez, Rudy Guerrero Jr., and Daniel Guerrero.
