Rachel Elizabeth Klose was born January 25, 1924, to Herman and Louise (Schroeder) Klose. She was the oldest of three children and a lifetime resident of the Stamford area.
During WWII she worked at the Stamford Flying School. Rachel was faithful to correspond with Clarence during his deployment to Europe. Love had grown between the couple, and Rachel and her beloved Clarence Teichelman were united in marriage on September 18, 1945. To this union of 66 years four children were born: Ronnie, Phyllis, Danny and Arlene. Rachel was the epitome of a well-rounded homemaker, from her ability to host people in her home to her cooking skills. She was always welcoming and ready to feed those who came to visit. She loved to sit on the porch swing with her family drinking Dr Peppers and eating chocolate candy. Rachel was a woman who had no fear of work; she labored in the fields along with her family and still managed to cook three home cooked meals every day. She was a faithful member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton and the Sons of Hermann Lodge.
Rachel passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the age of 92 years, 1 month and 27 days.
