Lynda Elizabeth Walker

On January 21, 2016, Lynda Elizabeth Walker passed from this earth to her eternal home in heaven. She was 71 years old. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Lueders, TX at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Morton officiating. Burial will follow in the Clear Fork Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home. Lynda’s family will gather for visitation Friday, January 22, 2016 from 6-7 p.m. at Tankersley Funeral Home (807 S. Columbia St) Stamford, TX.
Lynda Archer was born on January 5, 1945 in Dallas to Aaron and Amber Faye (Elliott) Archer. She was a 1963 graduate of Irving High School. Lynda married Lewis Clark in Irving, Texas, September of 1963. To this marriage was born a son, Jason Clark.
Lynda worked in retail sales for 17 years prior to moving to Lueders, Texas in 1995. She was her mother’s caregiver and cared for others in the community before retiring in 2007. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lueders.
Lynda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Janet Clark of Sherman, Texas; two grandsons, Trae Clark and Shawn Clark; two brothers, Joe Archer and wife Joyce of Alba, Texas and Larry Archer and wife Libby of Lueders, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Barbara Jenkins, one brother Wayne Archer and one sister-in-law Betty Archer.
