Mike Mcbay

Mike McBay, 58, of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at a local hospital.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Stamford with Dr. Robert Wingrove officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bethel Funston Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mike was born March 19, 1951 in Stamford to L. G. and Price McBay.  He was a lifetime resident of Stamford.  Mike attended schools in Stamford and was a truck driver.  He married Linda Carol Bradshaw on October 18, 1969.

He is survived by 1 son, Shawn McBay of Stamford, 2 daughters, Toby Clayton and husband John and Jamie Jones and husband Snuffy, all of Stamford, 1 brother, Chip McBay and wife Rhonda of Stamford, 6 grandchildren, Bethaney Clayton, Michael Clayton, Candace Clayton, Linda McBay, Sydney Jones, and Brody Jones, 1 niece, Lisa Carlton and husband Kevin of Abilene.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
