Seledonio Delgado, 63, of Abilene and formerly of Stamford passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 in an Abilene hospital. Rosary services were said at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Tankersley Funeral Home in Stamford. Funeral Mass was at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stamford. Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Cemetery.

Cache was born March 3, 1945 in El Campo, Texas to Antero and Angelita Delgado Sr. They moved to Stamford in 1958 and lived there until 2006 when he moved to Anson and to Abilene in November of 2008 to be near his daughter. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by 2 sons, Steve Guerrero of Hawaii, Frank Aracardo of Abilene, 5 daughters Wanda Lowery of Wylie, TX, Melissa Guerro, Angie Gomez, Rachel Delgado, and Sandra Delgado all of Abilene, 5 brothers, Antonio Delgado of Chilton, TX, Antero Delgado Jr. and Gilbert Delgado both of Abilene, Victor Delgado of Stamford, and Raul Delgado of Wichita Falls, 1 sister, Amelia Mejia of Stamford, 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Basilio, Domingo, and Jesus.
