Hunter Corzine, 14, of Aledo was embraced in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, as a result of an automobile accident.
Hunter Chase Corzine was born on January 30, 2001 in Fort Worth, Texas to Wes and Wendy Corzine. He just completed eighth grade at Aledo Middle School.
He was a handsome young man, inside and out, who had a love for his family that exceeded all. He touched the lives of so many in his 14 years as a son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend, all of which he was proud to be. A typical teenager, he loved his music and being around friends. Hunter had a passion for life outdoors; he enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was an honorary member of the Aledo Anglers Club. He attended Aledo United Methodist Church and was a member of the Aledo United Methodist Youth Group.
Hunter is survived by his mother, Wendy Michael and step dad Robert; his father Wes Corzine and step mother Robin; a sister Cara Corzine all of Aledo, Texas; 3 step-brothers, Taylor Dally and wife Marissa, Grant Seay and Logan Michael; one step-sister; Skylar Seay; grandparents, Carolyn Daniel, Ken and Debbie Corzine all of Aledo, TX and Paul and Sally Becker of Azle, TX; great grandmothers, Verlene Corzine of Stamford, TX and Virginia Hoppas of Ft. Worth, TX; 7 aunts and uncles: Christie and Jason Beaty of Aledo, TX, Michael and Denise Westfall of Weatherford, TX Jim and Lezlie Michael of Fort Worth, Angela and Joe Bly of White Oak, TX, Candice and Trance Rosenquist of Abilene, TX, and Kyle and Michelle Becker of Denver, CO; 13 cousins: Caitlin Beaty of Aledo, Johnnye Michael and Ryan, Brittany and Phoenix McWhorter all of Ft. Worth, Cody, Tyler Jacob, Breanna and Stephanie Bly all of White Oak, Karter and Emma Rosenquist of Abilene, Brooklyn and Jaxon Becker of Denver, CO. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Daniel, great grandparents, Herman and Geneva Daniel, Ivan Costephens, Horace and Annie Mae Foster, Lewis Corzine and Norman Hoppas.
Hunter ‘s family and friends will cherish his memories at a memorial service Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Aledo United Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lee Trigg officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home – Stamford, TX.
