Silvester Galindo Ramos

Silvester Galindo Ramos was born January 1, 1930 in Meyersville, Texas to the late Vicente and Louisa (Galindo) Ramos. He passed away April 12, 2015 at the age of 85.
Silvester moved from Fort Worth to this area in 1970. He married Maria Aguirre in1965. He was a farmer and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stamford.
Survivors include; his wife Maria Ramos of Avoca, TX; one daughter, Sandra Villanueva and husband Julio of Stamford, TX two brothers, Apolonio Ramos of Lubbock, TX and Vicente Ramos, Jr. and wife Gloria of Garden City, KS; 2 grandchildren Kimberly Maestas and husband Blaine Maestas II of Sweetwater, TX and Bobby Villanueva of Stamford, TX; two great grandchildren, Blaine Maestas, III and Alexis Maestas both of Sweetwater, TX; a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Julian Ramos, and one sister Vidala Garcia.
Rosary will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel (807 S. Columbia). Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.
