Ruby Faye Martindale

Ruby Faye Martindale entered into Heaven on April 29, 2014. She was born February 15, 1926 in Shackelford County Texas to Gordon and Ollie Wilson. She was a lifelong resident of Jones County.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband David Martindale, sister and brother-in-law Jackie and Don Glasgow and brother Mickey Wilson. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Glinda Martindale of San Angelo, TX and Dennis and Terri Martindale of Georgetown, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren and their spouses, Joni and Brian Lidiak of Austin, TX., Lori and John Thomas of Dallas, TX., David and Sara Martindale of Round Rock, and Seth and Lauren Martindale of Georgetown, TX. and four great grandsons; sister-in-law, Mary Wilson of Austin, TX and nieces Karen Lambert and Janice Brown and nephews Jack Wilson and John Wilson. Also to cherish her memory are special friends JoAnn and Jerry Temple and family of Georgetown, TX., Charlotte and Richard Risener of Georgetown, TX., and Chris Graham of Abilene, TX., as well as a host of other special nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at Tankersley Funeral Home Thursday, May, 1, from 1:00 p.m. until service. Services will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Fred Selby officiating. Burial will follow at Rockdale Cemetery, East of Stamford, TX under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested Memorial contributions be made to the Orient Street Church of Christ Memorial Fund (Summer Camp Fund), 510 S. Orient Street, Stamford, Texas 79553 or the charity of one's choice.
