Susie Vasquez

Susie Moreno Vasquez, 67, of Stamford, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in Kyle, Texas. Funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stamford, with Father George Roney officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Stamford under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home.
Susie was born August 11, 1945 in Robstown, TX to Merced and Marta Moreno. She moved to Stamford as a child and attended Stamford schools. She married Grady Vasquez on September 26, 1964 in Stamford. To this union, three children were born. She was a homemaker and a loving mother.
She is survived by her husband, Grady Vasquez of Stamford, 2 daughters, Christine Vasquez and husband Michael and Jennifer Macias and husband Catarino III, all of Stamford, 1 son, Grady Vasquez Jr. and wife Ruth of Kyle, TX, six sisters, Frances Gomez, Dominga Moreno, Janie Martinez, Irene Garcia, Aurelia DelGado and Rachel Perez, 7 brothers, Larry Moreno, Ben Moreno, Pete Moreno, Joe Moreno, Vince Moreno, Mike Moreno, and Tino Moreno, 7 grandchildren, Danielle Vasquez, Michael N. Vasquez, Christopher Vasquez, Grady Vasquez III, Kayla Vasquez, Alex Macias, and Cato Macias IV, and 4 great grandchildren, Riley Vasquez, Michael N. Vasquez Jr., Grady Vasquez IV, and Eliana Vasquez.
