Joyce Nell Montgomery

Joyce Nell Montgomery, 75, of Lueders, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her home in Lueders. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Mims officiating. Burial will follow at the Clear Fork Cemetery in Lueders. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 until 7 p.m.
Joyce was born Nov. 8, 1937 in Big Spring, Texas to Morron and Nellie Forbess. She was raised in the Big Spring area and attended school there. She worked as a seamstress and was a member of the Avoca Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Connie Nell Jones and husband Buck of Lueders, Alta Lee Runkel and husband Jim of Limon, Wyoming and Zelma Lynn Hargraves and husband Carlon of Dayton, Washington, 1 son, Robert Glynn Barnett and wife Linda of Sweeetwater, 1 sister, Velma Beasley of McKinney, TX, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
