Franklin Carl Henson

Franklin C. Henson, 65, of Stamford, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel in Stamford with Rev. Jessie Morton officiating. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Henson Cemetery in Red Spring Texas. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 until 6 p.m.
Hank was born on May 29, 1947 in Stamford to Roy Howard and Vernia May Henson. Most of his life was spent in Stamford. He was a hard worker who loved life and will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include 1 son, William Chance Henson and wife Kristi of Round Rock, Texas, 4 grandchildren, Rylee Henson, Wyatt Henson, Colton Henson and Alexa Henson all of Round Rock, 2 brothers, Ray Don Henson and wife Melissa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Burl Henson and wife Beth of Albany, Texas, 1 sister, Billie Roche’ and Ty Krieger of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 1 step brother, Donny Anders of Decatur, Texas, 1 uncle, Gerald Cheek and wife Wanda of Haskell, Texas, 1 aunt, Billie Jo Green, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
