Linda Lou Moore

Linda Lou Moore, 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Stamford Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Archer officiating.
Linda Lou Gray was born July 28, 1941 in Stamford to James and Maggie Gray. She was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1959. Linda was a loving mother, wife and homemaker. Linda shared her talent of being a good cook by working for the Stamford Senior Citizens Center the past 3 year and for Teakwood Manor Nursing Home for several years.
Linda is survived by her husband Roy D. Moore Sr. of Stamford; 2 daughters, Leslie Estelle Carr and husband Rick of Marble Falls, TX and Royce Lynn Bertsch and husband Carl of Azle, TX; 1 son, Roy D. Moore Jr. of Abilene; and 1 step daughter, Tammy Divins of Wichita Falls, TX; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and friends.
