Joyce Ann Powe

Joyce Ann Keen Powe, 77, of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, August 05, 2012 in an Aspermont care facility. Cremation services have been selected with Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford.
Joyce was born September 27, 1934 in Stamford to James and Berniece Keen. The family moved to the Rio Grande Valley when she was just a child. She was educated there graduating from Weslaco High School in 1952. She married Milton Joseph Dearinger in 1956 in Washington State. He preceded her in death in 1991. She returned to Stamford in 2000. Along with her husband, Milton, she owned and operated their very own Air Conditioning and Heating Co. She was a member of the St. John’s United Methodist Church in Stamford.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Johnna Sue Everett of Leander, TX, 1 son, Gregory Lewis Dearinger and wife Sherry of Stamford, 2 sisters, Patsy Hendley of Plano, TX and Ella Sue West and husband Thomas of Inola, Oklahoma, 1 niece, Mae Allison Higgins of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 3 grandchildren, Jason Dearinger and wife Carla, Jessica Sims and husband Josh, and Andrea Everett, 3 great grandchildren, Makayla Dearinger, Connor Dearinger, and Lily Dearinger.
