Pearl L. Ham

Pearl Ham, age 90, of Stamford, Texas went to her home in heaven on Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
Pearl L. Hansen was born February 21, 1922 in Avoca, Texas, to the late Gilbert and Ella Youngquist Hansen. She graduated from Lueders High School in 1940. Pearl graduated from Scoggins Beauty School in 1945. She was a self-employed hair dresser, and a member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Pearl married B.A. Honey, Sr. in 1939. To this marriage was born a son Bryant A. Honey, Jr. On April 10, 1946, she was united in marriage to John A. Ham, in Lueders, Texas. To this union two sons were born Barry and Gill Ham.
Pearl is survived by 3 sons, B. A. Honey, Jr. and wife Jeanette of Abilene, TX, Barry Ham and wife Peggy and Gill Ham all of Stamford, TX; one brother, Kenneth Hansen and wife Yvonne of Ericksdahl, TX, and a host of other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both her husbands, and 1 brother, Weldon Hansen.
Funeral services for Pearl will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Ericksdahl. The Rev. Teresa Davis will officiate. Interment will be at the Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends in the church basement immediately following the services.
