Bobby Watson

Bobby Watson, 64, of Haskell, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Abilene. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel in Stamford with Rev. Jessie Morton officiating with burial following at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Stamford.
Bobby was born January 8, 1948 in Haskell, TX to Bob and Wanda Watson. He was raised in the Haskell area and graduated Haskell High School in 1966. He then went to Texas Technological College in Lubbock and graduated in 1970. Bobby then returned to the Haskell area where he began his career in farming and ranching. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include 3 daughters: Debbie Slay and husband Buc of Fort Worth, TX, Crystal Hale and husband Robert of Austin, TX, and Lindsey Hester and husband Forrest of Kremmling, Colorado, 2 sisters: Joan Fuston and husband Johnny of Fort Worth, TX and Becky Pardue and husband Bert of Austin, TX, 2 grandchildren, Jack Slay and Tucker Slay, both of Fort Worth, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
