Henry Perez

Henry Perez, 71, of Arlington and formerly of Stamford, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 in Arlington. Rosary services will be said at 6 p.m. Monday at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel in Stamford. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stamford with Father George Roney officiating and burial following in the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
Henry was born July 14, 1940 in Wichita Falls to Louis and Petra Perez. He was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas and educated there. He married Mercedes Escobedo on June 16, 1962. Henry was a chemical tester with field operations for Pride Refinery Corporation.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes of Arlington, TX, 2 daughters, Monica Leal and husband Raul of Arlington, and Raquel Guerrero and husband Allen of Fort Worth, 2 sons, Andrew Perez and wife Laurie of Austin, and Benito Perez of Stamford, 1 sister, Frances Rodriguez of Wichita Falls, 1 brother, Albert Perez of Wichita Falls, 6 grandchildren, Andrea Eaton, Alissa Perez, Regina Perez, Benito Perez Jr., Allie Perez, and Juan Leal, and 2 great grandchildren, Paisley Eaton and Lyndon Eaton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and 4 brothers, Louis Perez, Pete Perez, Ralph Rodriguez, and Cosme Rodriguez.
Pallbearers will be Rey Alvarez, Rene Alvarez, Michael Young, Miguel Rodriguez, Bobby Alvarez, and Jackie Escobedo.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Julian Escobedo, Nati Escobedo, and Rufino Escobedo.
