Jack Donald Kennedy

Jack Donald Kennedy, 63, of Dallas and formerly of Stamford, went to his home in heaven on Wednesday, 12/28/2011. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, 12/31/2011 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford.
Jack was born in Anson, Texas on June 14, 1948 to Jack D. Kennedy, Sr. and Ethel Smith Kennedy. He was a 1966 graduate of Stamford High School. Jack continued his formal education at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Communication Degree. He was a member of the Northaven Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Jack worked as an executive in the medical field for MedSynergies, Inc., Medical Clinic of North Texas, Carter Eye Center of Dallas, TX, Healthtronics Surgical Services, Inc., VQ Orthocare, Orthometrix, Inc. He was currently employed by Medical Device Reimbursement Consultant working form Accuray, Inc.
Survivors to cherish Jack’s memories are; two brothers, Don Welch of Stamford, TX, and John Ed Welch and wife Sandra of Overton, TX; his stepmother Nora Kennedy of Cisco, TX; one step sister, Elaine Key and husband Gary of Spur, TX; a host of nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Whitey Welch and one sister-in-law Merina Welch.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Welch, Eddie Bator, Kenny Jones, Wayland Shurley, Bill Perry and Lloyd Blackwell.
