Joe Cedillo Gomez

Joe Cedillo Gomez, 59, of Stamford, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. Rosary will begin at 6 p m on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p m Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father George Roney officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Stamford.

Joe was born January 19, 1952 in Stamford to Raymond and Norberta Gomez. He was a lifetime resident of Stamford, a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and a graduate of Stamford High School. He was a hard worker. He worked at the Farmer's Co-op gin and Lawrence Crider Cement Co. and various other jobs. He was a loving caring father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was always smiling and laughing and loved his family unconditionally. If anyone needed anything, he would do his best to help. He loved his aunts dearly and would visit them daily. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Millie Villanueva of Stamford, Crystal Gomez of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Erica Gomez of Colorado City, 1 son, Joe Craig Gomez of Stamford, 1 brother, Ray Gomez of Southlake, TX, 2 sisters, Gloria Delgado of Abilene and Delores Wade of Stamford, and 5 grandchildren.
