Joseph Ray Vickers

Joe Ray Vickers, 50, of Lueders, passed away on Monday, December 05, 2011 in Anson. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel in Stamford with burial following in the Clear Fork Cemetery in Lueders. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Joe Ray was born August 5, 1961 in Marysville, California to Jimmy and Lois Vickers. He moved to Lueders as a child where he attended Lueders-Avoca schools and lived there the rest of his life.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Glenn Vickers and wife Sandy of Abilene, and James Vickers of Lueders, 2 sisters, Gloria Estes and husband Scott of Lueders, and Brenda Larance and husband Juan Ocon of Abilene and several nieces and nephews.
