Betty Louise Watson

Betty Lou Watson, 72, of Stamford, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Stamford. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Brigham officiating. Betty Lou was born September 26, 1938 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Herbert James and Alta Merlyne Watson. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, she was a very friendly person, enjoyed playing the piano, going to the football games, and any outing she could. Betty would make her rounds and greet everyone each day. She had been a resident of the Sagebrush Living Center for 24 years.
Survivors include her sister, Marjorie Koenig and husband Jim of Wimberley, Texas, 1 niece, Leticia Pipes and husband Jeff of Maypearl, Texas and 1 nephew, Darin Koenig and wife Nocona of Kyle, Texas, several great nieces and nephews, and the entire Sagebrush family.
