Bennie Lee "Buddy" Vickers

Bennie Lee (Buddy) Vickers, 71, passed away Thursday, September 01, 2011, at his home in Lueders. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Clear Fork Cemetery in Lueders under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home Stamford, Texas. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:30 to 7:30 Friday at the funeral home. Buddy was born in Lueders, Texas on July 19, 1940, he was the son on the late Ben and Falby Waters Vickers. He was married to Ruby Lee Smith. Buddy was a self employed welder, fence builder and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife Ruby Lee Vickers of Lueders, Texas; two sons, Robert Vickers and wife Kimberly and David Vickers and wife Amy all of Albany, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
