Nancy Louise White

Nancy Louise White, 78 years of age and a lifetime resident of the Stamford area, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 21, 2011 at her home.

She was born November 27, 1932, in Corinth, Texas, the daughter of late Thomas and Olivia Hubbard Lovvorn. She began her education at Corinth schools, and graduated from Stamford High School in 1949. She continued her education at Hardin Simmons where she studied for two years.
Nancy married Lowell Lynn White on November 24, 1951 in Stamford, Texas. Nancy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stamford.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Vernon Lovvorn, Douglas Lovvorn and Donald Lovvorn.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Lynn White of Stamford; one son David Lowell White and wife Denise of Stamford; two daughters, Marilyn Louise Keneaster of Houston, and Lynda Jane Foster and husband Mark of Levelland; five grandchildren, Kristi Logan and husband Zach of Stamford, Cheryl Overbey and husband Matt of Dallas, Kara Carroll and husband Ramon of Houston, Amanda Moore and husband Chad of Lubbock, and Nathan Foster of Levelland; four great-grandchildren, Kagen Logan, Alex Overbey, Braden Logan and Ashlyn Carroll one sister in law Lou Jean Lovvorn, and a host of other relatives.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Stamford with Rev. Jacob West officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 5 until 6:30 p.m.
