Terressa Michelle Barnett

Terressa Michelle Barnett, 48, of Stamford, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011 in Abilene. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Stamford with Rev. Jessie Morton officiating. Graveside rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, in Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m.
Michelle was born January 27, 1963 in Stamford to Johnny Jr. and Pat Bogle. She was a lifetime resident of Stamford. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Michelle worked as the dispatcher for about 6 years for the Stamford Police Department and then for the Jones County 911 dispatch. She worked for a couple of years for Hendrick Medical Center in the medical records and as a medical transcriptionist. Her children were the love of her life and enjoyed the times they had playing games at home.
She is survived by her husband, Joel Barnett of Stamford, 2 sons, Dustin Barnett and wife Nicole of Stamford, Dalton Barnett of Stamford, 1 daughter, Samantha Barnett of Stamford, 3 grandchildren, Dawson Barnett, Dillon Barnett and Sabrie Barnett, all of Stamford, 1 brother, Ricky Bogle and wife Annette of Farmersville, TX, and her parents, Johnny Jr. and Pat Bogle of Stamford.
