Frank Ellis Stevens Jr.

Frank Ellis Stevens Jr., 59, of Lueders, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 in an Anson nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 in the Clearfork Cemetery at Lueders with Rev. Les Mims officiating and under the direction of Tankersley Funeral Home of Stamford. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 until 4 p.m.
Frank was born October 28, 1951 in Vernon, Texas to Frank and Elnora Stevens. The family moved to Lueders when Frank Jr. was a child. He was raised and schooled in Lueders and was a lifetime resident of the area. He married Gloria Vickers in 1972 and later married Misty Jarvis in 1997.
Survivors include his mother, Elnora West of Stamford, 3 daughters, Lisa Polk and husband Mike of Stamford, Shalee Stevens and Sami Jo Stevens both of Lueders, 2 brothers, Eddie West and wife Nikita of Victoria and James West and wife Darla of Lueders, 2 grandsons, Bretton Vickers of Albany and Nicholas Lopez of Stamford and many other relatives and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Frank Stevens Sr. and his step father, R. D. West. Serving as pallbearers are Bretton Vickers, Scott Estes, Sam Smith, Jory Polk, Eddy West and James West.
